Speaker Bios:

Mark Biel- CICI - “How the Illinois General Assembly impacted the chemical industry in 2023!”

Mark is Chief Executive Officer for the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois (CICI), a statewide trade association based in Des Plaines. Mark is located in the Springfield office which closely monitors legislative and regulatory activity, with particular emphasis on environmental, energy, tax and tort reform issues. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer in 1999, Biel served as CICI’s Director of Government Affairs for six years.

David Reiser- Environmental Justice

David has more than three decades of experience advising clients in all areas of environmental law, including legislative, regulatory, compliance and law enforcement matters, corporate, commercial and real estate transactions, governmental and private cost-recovery actions, environmental insurance coverage, and remediation of contaminated sites.
